Week Six :: A precious moment.

As week 6 opens they get their first full "show groom" — bath, conditioner, blow dry, and pedicure. Reactions vary. Prospective owners, we'll clue you in on the joy of baths, maybe a year from now. :-)
Newton's law of physics is also holding true re: matter is not created or destroyed, it just changes in form. We find this especially true of water and food.
As temperatures hold steady and no day time rain, they spend hours outside in the back "40" exploring a whole new universe of puppy delights — leaves, flower petals, dirt (ugh), and Uncles Bismarck & Rom's tails. Fully weaned, with food intake increasing, weights shoot up. Play wrestling, stalking, "puppy fights" (with an occasional real temper lost), and shaking the bejesus out of stuffies highlight their active periods. They sleep less, and so does Traci.
