The whelping and weaning pens come down and are replaced by x-pen that pretty much gives them the whole dining area to spread out in. However, they conclude that while this is fine for sleeping and potty, the kitchen is where it's really at and every chance they get they break into it. At mid-week, gruel becomes their staple diet and mama is the extra treat. Their weight gain goes from a few ounces a day to more like 6-8. Mr Teal, once the smallest now competes for Big Dog honors with Ms. Sunshine (yellow).
On Thursday the temperature rises and they make their first exploration out into the wide outside world, romping, rolling and chasing their uncles.
