Friday — As the Samsonites begin their second week, they have signficantly picked up the pace of activity. As we write this, they are in the birth warming box as Traci changes the whelping box lining and pads. They are all trying, and close to succeeding, in climbing out. Several, with Red Boy and Blue Boy leading the way are working hard at trying to walk.

Saturday — eyes are beginning to open, starting with Miss Pink, followed by Yellow and Blue. They are becoming more aware of their surroundings, and follwing into more predictable patterns of bouts of "frenzy feeding" every 2-3 hours, followed by sleep and exploratory play. They scale Mom as if she were Mt. Everest, a few reaching the peak of her head to lick her ears. Over half are walking with varying degress of stagger.

Wednesday — all eyes are open, lots of vocalization; they are starting to play with each other.
